The Dollar’s Power: Beyond Military Might

The foremost superpower of the United States is not its military. More powerful than the military is the United States sovereign currency, the dollar. Most of the world conducts transactions using dollars. Other sovereign nations use our currency as their own. Other nations, corporations and individuals buy U.S. treasury bonds. The U.S. sets the rate of return and issues more dollars when it is in the U.S. economy’s best interest. The world envies this power!

Why do others trust the value of the U.S. dollar? It is because the full faith and credit of the U.S. economy backs the dollar. U.S. Treasury gold reserves backed the dollar until the late 1960’s. We removed the “Gold Standard” and now the world relies on the stability of the U.S. government. Our superpower is being threatened both outside and inside the country. Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates are members of the BRICS nations. They are coalescing around the Chinese renminbi as a trading currency. If the world started trading using the renminbi, that would end the United States as a superpower.

Our superpower is being dismantled from inside our country. Donald Trump has allowed Elon Musk and a DOGE group of programmers to access the U.S. treasury departments’ accounting systems. The White House can’t confirm if any of these people, including Musk, have security clearances. You heard the phrase, “follow the money.” Every adversary and even friendly nations of the United States would pay any cost to know how much the U.S. is spending on defense and all other categories. If you thought Julian Assange’s leak was a threat to U.S. security, it pales in comparison. The treasury data is no longer secure.

Further undermining the security of the United Sate is the firing of multiple inspectors’ generals, removal of the whistle blower law, the removal of White House and Pentagon media outlets. All of these are checks and balances that provide stability the world relies on to have faith in the United States.

The seizure of the U.S Treasury is a Constitutional Crisis. The constitutional authority of Congress, specifically the House of Representatives, to control government spending by approving or denying budget appropriations, essentially acting as a check on the executive branch’s ability to spend money; it is considered a key element of the system of checks and balances within the US government. Five former Treasury Secretaries recently wrote, “We were fortunate that during our tenures in office no effort was made to unlawfully undermine the nation’s financial commitments.”

No Republican in congress has objected to the damage to the United States foremost superpower, the full faith and credit of the U.S. government.

Jesus says this while on the cross, “Lord, forgive them, for they know not what they do,” which is found in the Bible, Luke 23:34, , asking God to forgive those who are crucifying him, implying that they are acting out of ignorance and not fully understanding their actions. Republicans’? Not so much.

Putin Offers State Funeral for Trump

While viewing President Jimmy Carter’s state-sponsored funeral, Vladimir Putin couldn’t help but notice past presidents and vice presidents ignoring President Trump. Even Karen Pence, Vice President Pence’s wife, would not acknowledge Trump as he stood right in front of her. Putin reached out to Trump to offer a state sponsored funeral in Moscow to make things right when Trump moves on to his reckoning.

Victor Orban, the fascist president of Hungary, will give a eulogy. As will Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s pick for Director of National Intelligence, who is simpatico with Putin’s gripe that NATO is the reason he invaded Ukraine. Pam Bondi, Trump’s girl Friday and nominee for U.S. Attorney General will speak remotely from the Four Seasons Landscaping lot as tribute to the Stop The Steal speech she set up for Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani will have to phone it in from prison as he serves out his time for defaming two lowly poll workers in Georgia.

Trump wana be friend, Alexander Smirnov will have to phone it in too. As he is sitting in prison for making up the fake Burisma/Biden bribery tale that Republicans based their impeachment charge against former President Biden.

Kim Jong-un, the thug leader of North Korea, will attend the service reading his love letter from Trump.

Jared Kushner will give a eulogy thanking Trump for the 2 billion dollars he got from Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, aka MBS who ordered the murder of the Washington Post columnist Jamal Ahmad Khashoggi.

Notable absentees: Most of the former presidents highest ranking cabinets officials. And of course, porn star Stormy Daniels. But on a lighter note, Melania has picked out her funeral outfit. The same one she wore to the Mexican border. The cargo olive jacket inscribed with I really don’t care, Do U?

Flags of Convenience

Flags of Convenience. A crude oil carrier from Russia flying the flag of Liberia skirts the laws required by countries it visits. It is accepted because of the Flag of Convenience.

Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerburg, and Jeff Bezo’s are all flying a United States Flag of Convenience. They are actually citizens of the country of “X”, the country of “Meta” and the country of “Amazon.” Their countries have an uneasy treaty with the country of “Trump Org” and its first citizen and King Donald J. Trump. The above countries don’t have borders but are more powerful than some countries that do.

None of these countries are patriots of the United States of America. They don’t have allegiance to this country, nor the interests of its citizens. Elevating Americans so they have better lives than their parents is foreign to them. What they have shown instead is that rules don’t apply to them. Money buys all the power they need to bend tax, labor, environmental, insurance and banking laws to their favor.

A treaty with the country of “News Corp” and it’s King Rupert Murdoch assures the United States citizens are groomed to accept the tearing down of the country’s institutions. On Jan 20th, freebasing Fox News viewers will congratulate the man who led the attack on our Nation’s Capital as he is sworn in as President of the United States of America. They should instead strike their colors.

From the War of 1812 to Modern Democracy: A Reflection

Earlier this Summer I had the pleasure of sailing up the Patuxent River, Maryland. This was the route the British cunningly used to attack the United States Capitol in 1814. The goal was to undermine the fledgling United States’ democracy. United States patriots avenged the foreign army that burned and pillaged our Capitol. We won the War of 1812. 207 years later, another army attacked our Capitol. This time, it was not a foreign army. It was an armed mob assembled at the Capitol by a sitting United States President, Donald J. Trump. The goal was to stop the peaceful transfer of power and, like the British, undermine democracy. Capitol Police were bear sprayed and beaten with Trump flag poles. 140 police officers were assaulted. One officer died the next day. Several took their own lives soon after and many are now maimed for life.

In my neighborhood, there are vehicles with the Thin Blue Line flags. The black line on the top of the flag represents the public. The black line on the bottom of the flag represents criminals. The thin blue line in the middle represents law enforcement that separates the two. These neighbors’ vehicles also have Trump 2024 stickers. Trump, who led the assault that maimed and killed law enforcement officers. Trump who racketeered across multiple states to undermine the will of the people. Trump who is still trying to remove the foundation blocks of our country. This house of democracy is where we negotiate our differences. Not by armed force, but by voting. Take a Republican to lunch today. See if you can persuade them to purge the MAGA out of their party. For the good of their party. And the good of our country. Just like we won the War of 1812. We will win this war too. This time you are the Thin Blue Line. This time, vote blue!

147 Plus 6: Unraveling a Political Crisis

Unity? Peace? Not without truth. These traitors to the temple of democracy must swear allegiance to the Union of which we stand. They must publicly declare the election legitimate before joining any committee seats of power. District voters can decide their fate in the next election. I would advocate removal.

147 plus 6. Two disturbing numbers that began 2021. On January 6th, 147 Republican house members plus 6 Republican senators voted to steal the will of millions of Americans by attempting to overturn the election of President Biden. On January 9th, 1861 almost 160 years to the day these 147 plus 6 voted against our Union, South Carolina Citadel Cadets fired on the US flagged ship STAR OF THE WEST while resupplying the United States military installation at Fort Sumter, S.C. Thus, began the Civil War. And thus, the war continues.

The 2020 election was the most transparent election this country has ever witnessed. These leaders and media backers repeatedly called the election a fraud. Our United States Capital, our temple of democracy, where we gather to peacefully negotiate our differences is where these leaders tore at the very foundation of that temple. Their followers attacked our temple based on the lies told by these leaders. This is Civil War.

Unity? Peace? Not without truth. These traitors to the temple of democracy must swear allegiance to the Union of which we stand. They must publicly declare the election legitimate before joining any committee seats of power. District voters can decide their fate in the next election. I would advocate removal. To solve any problem, you need to agree on facts. Solutions come in many forms. Going forward we need reliable political parties both conservative and liberal who speak truth in order have a more perfect union. Anything less is a lost cause.
